The Cemco-Major Model 685E
Liquid Level Transmitter is an electro-mechanical level control device, which accomplishes three (3) main functions.
These are remote indication, local liquid level indication, and hi- to adjustable switch outputs. The Model 685E
continuously indicates the liquid level and transmits a proportional signal.
Features:
- Complementary Adjustments - Zero and span adjustments at the transmitter. The range adjustment at the transmitter compensates for various liquid gravities.
- Easy To Read - Scale reads the same as a hand tank gauge making it unnecessary to convert PSIG or head into inches or feet of water to get correct
reading. Special Scales are available.
- Integral Weatherproof And Explosion Proof Enclosures - All mechanical working parts are housed in a weather proof enclose, while the transmitter and
switches are housed in an explosion proof housing. Housings are integrally cast together.
- Corrosion Resistant - Majority of parts are stainless steel or Teflon, with remaining parts being anodized, cadmium plated, etc.
- Long Life - All bearing are Tefloned, delrin, or moly disulphide baked on dry film lubricated stainless steel.
- Pulsation Dampening - A snubber, or pulsation dampener, is available to reduce line surges if the unit is installed on a pump suction line.
