 The OSECO
PRO+ (Precision Reverse-Operating) Rupture Disk is designed and manufactured for high-performance and demanding rupture disk applications. The PRO+ is
a fully opening perimeter-scored design, due to the precision scoring delivered by OSECO’S unique computerized load cell technology.
This process yields a high performance disk to withstand the most difficult applications, even in corrosion resistant materials such as Hastelloy ® C-276.
The PRO+ is ideally suited for a variety of applications with a broad range of burst pressures from 8 to 1000 psig.
- Sizes 1” through 4” standard with 6” and 8” available upon special request.
- Standard materials of construction:
Hastelloy ® C-276, 316 Stainless Steel, Nickel-200/201, Inconel ® -600, and Monel ® -400.
- Operates to 95% of requested burst pressure above 40 psig, 96% of minimum tolerance at and below 40 psig.
- Burst tolerance of +/-4% above 40 psig. Burst tolerance of +/-2 psig at and below 40 psig.
- Well suited for high cycling applications.
- 0% Manufacturing range standard.
- Excellent for gas or liquid service applications.
- Smooth surface on process side to minimize product buildup.
- Non-fragmenting design.
- Elevated temperatures up to 900 degrees F.
- Non-torque sensitive when used in OSECO PRDI holder.
- Withstands full vacuum (14.7 psi) without separate vacuum support.
- Offers 3-D tag on disk and locating pin in PRDI holder to verify correct installation.
- Ideal for safety relief valve isolation. (see Table 1)
- Fluoropolymer liner available on process side. (PRO+L)
