Burst Disk Alarm System

If you think you’re out of room for Burst Disk Alarms, you haven’t seen the new OSECO BDA innovations!

The new OSECO Burst Disk Alarms are an innovation in alarm modularABILITY and flexibility. Now you can structure individual or multiple grouped alarm systems without being limited to the bulky, space-taking multichannel options of the past. The OSECO BDA modularABILITY enables you to achieve sensing and immediate alarm indication for a multitude of rupture disks and a variety of other applications.

The OSECO alarm modules can be placed in your main control area in either single, double, triple, or larger groupings. It can even be used in remote monitoring stations providing closer proximity to the actual process equipment. The combinations can be dictated by your needs, and the placements can be grouped in whatever configuration you require. It is no longer necessary to group the Burst Disk Alarms in confusing central alarm configurations or to buy multichannel boxes for single channel needs.

Space in main control areas is at a premium, and organization of the control apparatus is crucial. The placement flexibility of the new OSECO Burst Disk Alarm modules will play an important role in helping you restructure and better place your existing alarms. No longer are you limited to standard multichannel configurations of Burst Disk Alarms sensing, and now, with the OSECO Burst Disk Alarm Module you may even be able to replace the older more bulky units, giving you additional space for other control elements.

Usage
The OSECO Burst Disk Alarm Module latches into the alarm condition when it detects an open circuit and can be used with all types of normally closed sensors. The alarm modules are self-contained units that include their own individual alarm light, buzzer, test button, and reset button. Using standard din rail mountable sockets the installation and maintenance of the OSECO Burst Disk Alarm is simple and quick.

The OSECO BDA Module can be used with standard I.S. barriers for intrinsically safe field circuits. OSECO can recommend or supply the I.S. barriers.

OSECO can also provide a full featured, wall mounted, self-contained, Burst Disk Alarm Monitor. The Burst Disk Alarm Monitor uses the replaceable OSECO BDA Module and is available in an intrinsically safe 1 thru 6 channel configuration, Model MAS-1, or a standard 1 thru 8 channel configuration, Model MAS-2.

The OSECO burst disk sensors complete the OSECO System. The Burst Disk Sensor is installed on the vent side of the burst disk assembly. Upon rupture of the bursting disk, the disk alarm circuit is opened by the flowing media. The open circuit may be used to activate a variety of alarms. With OSECO sensors you are assured of reliability in burst disk alarm applications.

OSECO has been helping protect people and equipment for more than 13 years. Throughout that time we have made it policy to create product innovations that are directed specifically to your operations needs. To develop new ideas that will solve the problems and make your life easier...and safer!

The new OSECO Burst Disk Alarms achieve not only this but, with their modularABILITY and new level of flexibility, they open up a whole arena of alarm monitoring.

Applications that may not be currently monitored, but need some type of status indications, can finally be linked with OSECO alarm technology through normally closed sensing devices. Level switches, pressure switches, temperature switches, and flow switches can be monitored with the OSECO BDA Module. Eventcritical door access can be monitored.
