We now have available the new
OSECO Enhanced Teflon Sintered Graphite Bursting Disk. The New Teflon Coating is sintered at high temperature on to unimpregnated graphite. This allows
the disks to be operated at temperatures from -206 degrees C (-402 degrees F) up to +290 degrees C (554 degrees F). Most resin impregnated graphite disks can only be
used up to temperatures of 165 degrees C after which the impregnants start to be effected which will effect the burst characteristics of the disk.
- Available in two designs
- Exceptional corrosion resistance
- Non-stick
- Conforms to F.D.A. regulations for direct food contact
- High temperature applications up to 290 degrees C (554 degrees F)
- Conforms to BS 2915:1990 and other international standards
- Compatible with other manufacturers holders
Type 1 (TEF)
- Replacement element type disk, fits into a reusable holder.
- Holders available in various materials, i.e. Graphite, 316 Stainless Steel or Teflon coated 316 Stainless Steel, to any flange standard.
- Fully compatible with most other manufacturers replacement element type disks. (Consult Advanced Rupture Disk Technology)
Type 2 (TEF)
- Monobloc type disk, does not require a holder. Fits within the bolt circle of standard R/F flanges. Can be made to any flange standard.
- Interchangeable with other manufacturers Monobloc disks. Can be made to most dimensions to suit installation.
- Reusable Reverse Pressure Support (R.P.S.), reducing costs for future replacement disks. R.P.S.
not required for disks with a burst pressure 25 psig and above.
- Standard disk (TEF) has teflon sintered on to process side.
- Options available: Teflon coating all over disk; Armour rings available in Carbon Steel or 316 Stainless Steel.
