OSECO Holders Line
Insert Type
Bolts between and fits within the bolt circle of standard ANSI flanges. The Insert Rupture Disk Holder is the most popular of all Rupture Disk Holders. The OSECO Insert
holder is a reduced diameter flat faced flange assembly that bolts between standard ANSI pipe flanges and fits within the bolt circle. This holder allows the rupture
disk to be pre-assembled to insure that it is properly seated before installation into the pressure system. Insert Type Rupture Disk Holders include
RDI - A 30o angular seat design. For use with the STD and CO Rupture Disks.
- FRDI - A non-torque sensitive flat seat arrangement. For use with the FAS, (F)CO and FST Rupture Disks.
- PRDI - A non-torque sensitive flat seat arrangement with locator pin. For use with the PCR, PLR, and PSR Reverse Buckling Rupture Disks.
Threaded Assembly
Widely used on high pressure applications up to 15, 000 psig at
100oF. The standard unit utilizes an 11/16” hold-down ring is
used. Standard material of construction is 316 Stainless Steel. Standard inlet connections are 1/4” MPT or 1/2” MPT with
1/2” MPT or muffled outlet. Other materials and connections are available to your exact specifications.
Union Assembly
Low in cost and is ideal for applications where installation
space is limited. Time required to replace the rupture disk is reduced as only the union nut is removed to obtain access to
the rupture disk. Standard sizes are 1/2”, 1”, 1-1/2” and 2” nominal pipe sizes. Threaded inlet and outlet connections are standard. Consult Advanced Rupture Disk Technology for the availability of welded connections. The Union Rupture Disk Holder has the standard 30o angular seat design and is for use with the STD/STDV series and the CO/COV series rupture disks. Note: The rupture disk tags will come unattached to the disks for union holder
installation. Standard materials are carbon steel and 316 Stainless Steel. Special materials are available on request.
Bolted Assembly
Available with any combination of either weld-neck or threaded inlet and outlet connections.
Full diameter flat-faced inlet and outlet flanges are available and designed to be used
between ANSI companion flanges. The Bolted Rupture Disk Holders are desigend to be
used with or in place of ANSI B16.5. Standard materials fo construction are carbon steel and 316 Stainless Steel. Other materials are available on request.
Pre-Torqued Insert Holders, FRDI(P) and PRDI(P)
The most cost saving and convenient to use of all of the
OSECO insert holders, is the Pre-torqued Assembly. Available in both the FRDI and the PRDI styles, this unique design
minimizes the worry in any applications. This entire unit may be removed for inspection purposes and returned without
disturbing the torque values placed on the rupture disk. This single feature is of significant value when you consider the
savings you will earn on the purchase of replacement rupture disks alone. These savings along with the time saved by
installing OSECO pre-torqued rupture disk holders, will be cost effective and pay for themselves very quickly. Available in sizes from 1” through 18” in
the FRDI Format and 1” through 8” in the PRDI Format. ANSI ratings of 150# and 300# are available.
