PLR Rupture Disk
Installation Instructions

The OSECO PLR is a precision, low pressure, non-fragmenting, reverse buckling rupture disk. It offers extremely low burst pressures in an all metal design. The armored construction of the PLR protects the disk from damage that affects the performance of other low pressure rupture disks.

Standard disk materials are Hastelloy C-276, 316 Stainless Steel, Inconel-600, Monel-400, and Nickel-200/201. For additional corrosion protection, a PFA Teflon liner is available on the process side (please specify type PLRL). the top-portion / retainer ring on the atmospheric side of the PLR is always 316 Stainless Steel.

The PLR is excellent for use in protecting and isolating saftey relief valves. Due to the large opening characteristics, in some sizes an extended outlet holder may be required when installed directly under a SRV. See table 1 for specifications.
