OsecoElfab’s CRVC Explosion Vents

OsecoElfab’s CRVC vent is a rectangular, domed explosion vent. The heavy-duty design incorporates much thicker materials than standard explosion vents. The CRVC can withstand higher positive or negative system operating pressures than flat vents. The vent may be exposed to system pressures up to 70% of the stamped burst pressure. The precision in design, manufacturing techniques and testing assures a superior product that provides overpressure protection with minimal or no fragmentation. The CRVC is excellent for use in high cycling applications such as dust collectors. For high temperature applications, we offer the CRVCI with internal insulation.

  • The CRVC is available in sizes ranging from 12”X18” all the way up to 44”x69”.
  • The CRVC is available in set pressures ranging from 1.3 psig up to 10 psig.
  • At set pressures at or below 2 psig, the CRVC has a standard set pressure tolerance of +/- 0.25 psig.
  • At set pressures above 2 psig, the CRVC has a standard set pressure tolerance of +/- 0.5 psig.
  • The CRVC is rated for temperatures ranging from -20 degrees F all the way up to 450 degrees F.
  • The CRVC has a 70% operating ratio, meaning the CRVC operates reliably and with a long service life at pressures up to 70% of the marked burst pressure.  Pressure excursions above this 70% operating ratio will shorten the lifespan of the CRVC.
  • The CRVC is available with a 1-year warranty as a standard.
  • The CRVC is available in all OE standard materials (316 Stainless Steel, Nickel 200, Inconel 600, Monel 400, and Hastelloy C 276).  Other materials may be available or offered on request.
  • The CRVC utilizes a hinged opening design, ensuring it remains non-fragmenting.
  • The CRVC is capable of withstanding partial vacuum, at pressures down to -12 psig.
  • The CRVC is designed to meet all NFPA 61 and NFPA 68 requirements for explosion vents.
